So sorry for the silence on DA, everyone...life changes and all that. Currently I do not have a scanner, but that does NOT mean I don't have new art to show! I'm going to pull some strings to put up the new stuff - just be patient! :)
I've been updating my bloggo pretty regularly now - I am now on MySpace, Livejournal, and Blogger. Here are the links:

I am FINALLY moved into my new apartment. I'm slowly forming my studio space, so that I can draw. I actually tried to draw the other night, and I just stared at my sketchbook. Just too distracted right now with the move, the new surroundings, school, the divorce, lack of internet....hopefully the roadblock will dissolve - I really need to draw! The best therapy in the world...

I'll upload some pics of my new place on the Bloggo - still getting used to LJ.

On to happier subjects...

Another week has begun in scad-land, and we are over the midterm hump! I have been working on some exciting new projects that will hopefully be reaching completion pretty soon. New deviations are on the horizon!

I must say that the weather is beautiful these days...

I can't even believe it....

I was just informed of this ABOMINATION of an "art" exhibit at the Visual Arts Biennial of the Central American, by the so-called "artist" Guillermo Vargas Habacuc. This fucker took a dog from the street, tied it up in the gallery without food or water, and allowed it to starve to death in the presence of many gallery visitors. The gallery defended the actions, saying that since it was an artistic expression, it did not merit any allegations of mistreatment or legal action. This is absolutely disgusting. This is using the excuse that "art" allows one to do whatever the hell one wants to do. Maybe Habacuc wanted to make a "statement" on the mistreatment of animals, of humans, of whatever - is THIS the way to do it??? We KNOW there is mistreatment of animals, we KNOW that there are a million horrible things happening to human beings and animals alike - WHY make an example of one innocent dog to - what- REMIND us of this?? Unbelievable. What if a PERSON had been used as an example in this "prestigious" gallery? What if that person had not been allowed to eat or drink or shit - would THAT have been considered "art" as well????
I'm not a tree-hugger or anything, but this is more than upsetting. Maybe that's the very reaction that fucker wanted - in that case, if I had the opportunity, I'd blow a bullet in his head. May he rot in Hell. May all of them that considered this "art" rot in Hell.
